Bavarian Summer
Munich is known for the Oktoberfest, the world's largest beer festival. But in Munich and in the rest of Bavaria there is more to discover. In the streets of -Marienplatz- in the old part of Munich there are plenty of historical buildings, beautiful sculptures and nice cafes. In modern restaurants and shops you can find original designs. The Hofgarten close to the Odeonsplatz has an amazing landscape architecture and is worth a visit. On the Northeast side of the Constance Lake (Bodensee in German) is a beautiful town called Lindau. The lake is situated in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Lindau also consist of an island with historical churches and houses and the famous lighthouse.
